Giftbit's Response to a Vendor's Public Security Advisory

Responding to a vendor's security incident

On November 22, 2023, a web tracking and analytics service used by Giftbit issued a public security advisory. The advisory stated the service provider had a cyber security incident. That same day, Giftbit’s team carefully assessed the situation, Giftbit’s use of the service provider, and the potential risk to Giftbit customers and recipients.

Giftbit has undertaken actions to rotate our credentials with the provider. At the time of this writing, Giftbit has not identified any risk to Giftbit customers or recipients due to the security incident at our analytics vendor. Giftbit will continue to monitor and assess this situation closely.
